Meet the Shepherds
Prayer, visitation, and support for your family. If you need help, we’re here to walk with you.
A welcome from our pastoral team
Pastoral care is one of the most meaningful ways our church family walks together in faith. It is not only for moments of crisis—it is also for everyday encouragement, prayer, and spiritual guidance as we follow Jesus Christ.
Whether you are new to our church, returning after a season away, or have been with us for years, we want you to know you are seen, loved, and not alone.
What pastoral care is (and why it matters)
Pastoral care is the ministry of shepherding—helping people draw near to God, grow in faith, and find strength through prayer, Scripture, and Christian community. Our pastors and leaders are here to listen with compassion, speak truth with gentleness, and help you take the next faithful step forward.
We believe God meets us in real life—in joy and sorrow, questions and doubts, transitions and trials—and the church is called to reflect His care through faithful presence.
Meet the Shepherds
Our pastoral team serves Malden Haitian Church of the Nazarene with a shared commitment to biblical teaching, prayer, and compassionate care. Together, they help lead worship, teach God’s Word, and walk alongside families through every season of life.
Senior Pastor
Provides spiritual leadership for the congregation, preaches faithfully from Scripture, and helps guide the church’s mission and vision.
Associate Pastors
Support the ministry through teaching, pastoral care, discipleship, and outreach—helping strengthen families, youth, and the wider community.
First-time visitors
If you are visiting for the first time, we would be honored to meet you and help you connect to the life of the church.
How we support you
We offer practical, prayerful support that honors your story and points you toward hope in Christ. Depending on your need, pastoral care may include:
- Prayer: lifting your needs to God with faith and sensitivity
- Spiritual guidance: helping you apply biblical truth to real decisions
- Encouragement and counsel: a listening ear and wise, Christ-centered perspective
- Visitation: being present during hospital stays, loss, or difficult seasons
- Connection to resources: helping you find next steps within the church community
We respect confidentiality and approach every conversation with humility, grace, and care.
When to reach out
You do not need to wait until something feels “big enough.” If something matters to you, it matters to us. Common reasons people contact pastoral care include:
- Grief, loss, or a major life change
- Marriage or family stress
- Anxiety, fear, or feeling spiritually dry
- Questions about faith, the Bible, or church life
- Hospitalization, surgery, or health concerns
- Celebrations you want to thank God for—pastors love rejoicing with you too
If you are unsure whether to reach out, reach out anyway. A simple conversation can be a first step toward peace and clarity.
